Brief Description of the Scope
The project includes maintenance and improvement works of the operational and hydraulic behavior of the network and the pumping stations of the district heating installation of Kozani. It includes the replacement of sections of pipeline, interventions for the immediate repair or emerging leaks, controls and repairs to the existing leak detection system, and the construction/reconstruction of a number of new connections. Also included are disconnections and reconnections of consumer thermal substations and dismantling/ construction works on network sections.
Construction of New Connections
In particular, the project includes maintenance and leak repair works for approx. 80 estimated interventions to the underground pre-insulated distribution network and pipelines of the district heating system of Kozani, the reconstruction of existing connections, the construction of approx. 35 new connections, improvement interventions to the existing leak detection system, and maintenance works at the main pumping stations of the district heating system of Kozani that include the dismantling of two existing pumping stations and installation of a new one with a capacity of 710 kW.
