Key Project Information
Scope of the Project
The scope of this contract includes the operation, maintenance, control, supervision, and management of all the existing pumping stations for the transfer and distribution of hot water in the Megalopoli District Heating Installation.
It also includes the daily and/or seasonal load regulation in a manner that is efficient and effective according to the energy needs of the connected consumers in relation to prevailing climate conditions, load demands, available energy, and the installation’s operational limitations.
Special Demands of the Project
The project includes the control, operation, maintenance, and management – supervision of the entire existing electromechanical and electrical equipment of the pumping station.
In particular, the maintained equipment includes:
- Existing pumping stations for the transfer and distribution of thermal energy,
- Electrical panels and transformers of medium of high voltage,
- Speed controllers,
- Manual and electronic isolating ball or butterfly valves, and
- Anti-flooding and water filtering devices.
Management and Operation Services
Measuring devices and pressure and temperature transfer devices, existing steel pipelines and their connector and support configurations, safety valves, pressure maintenance, expansion receipt and processed water top-up devices, ventilation and discharge devices, existing fire safety, installation protection and oversight systems.
Control and supervision of existing steam receipt – heat exchange devices inside the DEI S.A. co-producing plant, as well as of the existing auxiliary equipment.
