T. MAVRIDIS Private Company is headquartered in Kozani, Greece. It was established in 1988 by Themistocles Mavridis (BA Electrical Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), initially as a sole proprietorship. Subsequently it was converted into an Ltd., and since July of 2017 it operates in its present form, as a private capital company (P.C.C.).

The company has been in business for over 30 years, having built extensive experience and specialization in the construction and maintenance of electromechanical industrial projects, district heating projects, metal constructions, water supply and sewerage works, and roadworks, for the public and private sectors.

The company employs, on average, 40 people annually. Its clients include the Greek Public Power Corporation (DEI S.A.), District Heating Municipal Companies, Hellenic Petroleum S.A., and other public and private sector corporations.

In particular, T. MAVRIDIS P.C.C. has successfully implemented important large-scale projects in the region of Western Macedonia and in Southern Greece, in the following sectors:

  • STEAM-ELECTRIC POWER STATIONS

    Execution of works and implementation of projects in lignite steam-electric power stations, as well as maintenance of lignite mining equipment, with combined budgets totaling approx. 20 million Euro. The projects’ objective and activities included, among other things:

    • Lignite mill maintenance,
    • Burners and lignite fuel supply system,
    • Interventions and maintenance of air pre-heater (LUVO) configurations,
    • IDF, dumpers, fire insulation, boiler cleaning, steam pipe replacement, etc.

  • DISTRICT HEATING INSTALLATIONS

    The company has successfully executed and commissioned a large number of district heating projects with combined budgets exceeding 8 million Euro. The contracting entities include the largest operators of district heating installations in Greece, such as the Water Supply and Sewerage Municipal Company of Kozani, the District Heating Municipal Company of Ptolemaida, the District Heating Municipal Company of Amyntaio, and the District Heating Company of Megalopoli.

  • MECHANICAL INSTALLATIONS

    Participation in specialized projects, such as, for example:

    • “Engineering works associated with the Elefsina Refinery Upgrading Project (ERUP) – Sector 2”, a completed project with a budget of 4.6 million Euro on behalf of the Hellenic Petroleum Group, where the main contractor was the joint venture of ATERMON S.A. – EKME S.A. – TMUCB S.A. – METKA S.A.

  • Environmental Projects

    Implementation of a significant number of environmental projects, the most important of which is the “Boiler Upgrades in Units III & IV of the SES Ag. Dimitrios to Reduce Nox Emissions with Primary Measures” on behalf of DEI S.A. The project was implemented at the DEI S.A. SES Ag. Dimitrios, in Kozani. In the project, T. MAVRIDIS P.C.C. participated as a subcontractor to the main contractor, the joint venture of ERGOTEM S.A. – Electromec S.A. – Steinmüller Engineering GmbH.

    The total budget for the project was 16.5 million Euro, and T. MAVRIDIS P.C.C. undertook the dismantling of the old configuration of lignite burners, petrol burners, lignite pipes and airducts, and construction of a new one.
